OBJECTIVE:
Tastes… Sights… and Sounds of what was the height of Latin glamour – old Havana! Create an unforgettable experience for 400 guests on an exotic Caribbean island that they had never experienced before and could never experience on their own again.
CHALLENGES:
Design an event that had no physical borders or boundaries, find entertainment and culture no one in the group had ever experienced and mostly wouldn’t ever again.
• Customs and Immigrations issues for bringing the forbidden fruit away from Cuba (Havana Entertainers).
• Travel to Havana to secure entertainment.
• All of the entertainers had never left Havana and spoke no English.
• Weather was risky as event was scheduled outside.
• Grand finale needed wind below 20 mph.
SOLUTION:
The event created was a Night in Havana, where we actually flew in to the Bahamas Havana’s number one club band and show dancers, complete with authentic costuming. A custom Cuban inspired menu, Mojito bar and Cuban cigars completed the event.
